KJ is a licensed, Certified Player Agent by the National Football League Players Association. He represents players under all aspects of the NFL’s Collective Bargaining Agreement; including the NFL draft process, college free agents, restricted and unrestricted NFL free agents. In addition to holding his NFLPA certification, KJ serves as an Interrnational Consultant for all player relations in Brazil.


KJ enjoyed a successful Division 1 college career in both football and track.  He won one Big South Track and Field Championship and three Big South Football Championships before suffering a career-ending injury that impacted his future plans as professional football player in the NFL.

KJ  has faced adversity and has come out on the winning end. He successfully made the transition to professional indoor football and played for the Northern Kentucky River Monsters, and the Cincinnati Commandos where he captured one CIFL championship.


In 2011, he moved to Brazil, with a vision to build upon an emerging American football program in South America. He became fluent in Portugesse. And in the unstructured Brazilian football market served in the capacity as player, head coach, and Regional Scout for the Brazilian National Team.


KJ has built a solid working relationship with executives in both the National Football League and the Canadian Football League.  He currently represents players in both the NFL and the CFL under their respective collective bargaining agreements.


Marybeth is licensed to practice before all South Carolina courts.  She has appeared in more than 1,000 court proceedings in her 11+ years as a practicing attorney. Her litigation skills include trials in both family court and general sessions court.  

Marybeth frequently represents individuals charged with abuse and neglect, drug use, educational, and medical neglect.  She is highly experienced defending parents facing termination of their parental rights. 


Marybeth has presented at multiple continuing legal education seminars on topics including:  Best Practices for Attorneys Defending Parents in DSS Actions; Defense of the Parents with a Mental Heath Diagnosis; and Termination of Parental Rights in South Carolina.

She was the first-ever, female presenter at the 7th Annual South Carolina Gun Laws Seminar.  Marybeth is a published legal scholar for her work entitled: "A Federal Perspective: The Second Amendment as a Fundamental Aspect of Liberty." Marybeth's criminal practice includes representation of individuals facing felony charges and misdemeanors.  She is an NRA Life Member and a  NRA referral list attorney.


Growing up in a sports family, Marybeth is well-versed in all aspects of athletics.  She is experienced in the NCAA recruiting process and has negotiated contracts involving college scholarships, employment agreements, and separation agreements.  


Marybeth is also experienced in commercial commercial aircraft acquisitions, lease agreements, government contracts, and business formations.


Marybeth has served as a Board Member for the National Alliance on Mental Illness for Anderson, Oconee, and Pickens counties.  She is a mental health advocate who routinely speaks to law enforcement during their Crisis Intervention Training (CIT) programs.
